On February 28th, 2012, indie-electronica group, School of Seven Bells, will be releasing their third album, Ghostory, on Vagrant Records/Ghostly International. Forming in 2006, the band began as a trio between Benjamin Curtis and identical twin sisters, Claudia and Alejandra Deheza. However , Claudia Deheza has since left the band and Ghostory marks School of Seven Bell’s first significant production as a duo.
Guitarist Benjamin Curtis says on the making of the record:
“Ghostory is our most collaborative music to date. Alley (Alejandra) and I have always written our music together, but always independently and on our own time. We knew we wanted to do something that was more sensual and spontaneous than anything we had ever done before, and that meant writing together in a room, coming up with ideas quickly and immediately reacting to what the other person was doing.”
